  1. Are files transfers encrypted?

Yes, all access to the File Manager and all file transfers are encrypted using AES 256 bit SSL encryption keys from GoDaddy.com.

  2. Are my files backed up once I put them on your servers?

Yes, we back up all the files every day. While we make no guarantee that we can recover your files if we sustain a hardware failure, we make sure we have done our best to protect your data and can recover quickly.

  3. Can I access my files via FTP or S/FTP?

No, the service is for web based access only. If you have a need for S/FTP access, please contact us.

  4. Can I pay for my service with something other than PayPal? What if I don't have a PayPal account?

First off, at this time we are only using PayPal, we will be adding more soon though. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can still pay for the service with a credit card without a PayPal account.

  5. How long does it take to get access once I sign up?

In most circumstances, your account is setup in seconds. Once you sign up through PayPal, we get a notification and your account is created automatically, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  6. How will I know when my account is ready?

Once we receive the data from PayPal, your account will be created and we will send an email to your PayPal email account that gives you your user name (your PayPal email) and password, along with some other information and helpful links.

  7. I signed up and I haven't gotten my account information in the mail! It's been more than an hour, what gives?

Since we are dependent on receiving data from other parties, there is always the chance that something happened and we didn't get the data feed, etc. Please allow 24 hours for things to work themselves out, but if you haven't heard anything from us within 24 hours, please contact us via the support contact form (http://www.myfilesanywhere.com/contact-us/tech-support/) and let us know so that we can fix it.

  8. Is there a demo or trial account available?

We do not run a demo site, but if you sign up for our service, the first month is free. This gives you an entire month to use the service and make sure you are happy with it. If for some reason you want to cancel your service, as long as you do so before that month is over, there is no charge to you at all. We will work very hard to resolve any problems, issues or concerns that you may have.

  9. Is there a limit on the size of a file I can upload?

We do not place a limit on the size of uploaded files, other than the amount of free space left in your account.

  10. Is there a limit to the amount of transfers I can make?

At this time there is no limit to the transfers in or out of your space. We plan on keeping it this way, however, if we find something that is causing a problem we will let that user know.

  11. What are the requirements to use the MYfilesanywhere service?
